ZIP file is valid.
It wants just the pure pkzip from www.pkware.com.

CK, just download that pkzip for Windows, it is free for trial, 30 days. And unpack that ZIP without problem. Or ask Mike Nelson for the free 7z archive.

I got the archive to open with 7-Zip and could extract files. WinRar and Winzip would open the archive, but not extract files.

In this day and age, one should only use a product like
7zip - www.7-zip.org or
izarc - www.izarc.org/

Yeah, definitely something funky with that file -- 7zip or built-in Windows extractor can't get all the files.

I guess I'll download 7zip for this PC. I always used it in the past, but Windows 7 has ZIP-archiving built-in so I haven't really needed it.
Now, Kat says she got it open with 7zip, and Andy said he couldn't. Are you guys using the same version of 7zip?

It will open with 7zip, but gives an error on about 8 files and won't extract those (mostly the docs I think) -- I'm using 64-bit 7zip. One of the extractors gave an error about path names or something, the other said unsupported compression type.

In this day and age, one should only use a product like
7zip - www.7-zip.org or
izarc - www.izarc.org/
Just a suggestion
7zip and IZarc do not support the "pkzip of pkware" decompression. So we'd avoid that "pkzip of pkware" in our EU-archives.
But anyone can decompress the Method Euphoria package with the trial version of "pkzip of pkware":

Maybe someone who has the correct program can uncompress & recompress with non-proprietary format and re-upload? (If Mike doesn't see this thread first.) Or somebody shoot him an email if they have a current address?

I used 32 bit 7Zip 9.17 beta and it decompressed the zip very fine.

I had to download http://sourceforge.net/projects/p7zip/files/p7zip/9.13/p7zip_9.13_x86_linux_bin.tar.bz2/download to get a version of 7z that could extract that zip file.
(The version I had, 7-Zip 4.51 beta Copyright (c) 1999-2007 Igor Pavlov 2007-07-25 & p7zip Version 4.51 (Utf16=on,HugeFiles=on), couldn't extract it.)
I've rezipped it with Zip 2.32 (June 19th 2006), by Info-ZIP, and you can get it here: http://malcom.unkmar.com/lostsouls/method_euphoria.zip
