You could start by studying this website (read all the pages!): http://www-cs-students.stanford.edu/~amitp/gameprog.html
That site doesn't discuss Euphoria, but that doesn't matter at all. Learning HOW to make a game is going to be much harder than learning Euphoria (or C, or whatever language you choose). And we can answer questions about Euphoria, once you know how to ask them.
Amazon.com has a lot of books on game programming. Until you have decided on what kind of game you want to write - text adventure? first-person shooter? etc. - you won't know what you need to study. Just be prepared to spend a few hundred bucks, and to study harder than you ever have before.

This archive is also a great place to start.

Hi
If you've never written a game, try writing an eu version of bulls and cows 1st. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulls_and_cows Its really simple, and will either your appetite wetted, or put you off entirely. Hint - forget graphics or gui, go straight for text only.

Try this link to the Rapid Euphoria site, for user contributed games, then maybe pick one that looks interesting to you, & study it:
http://rapideuphoria.com/cgi-bin/asearch.exu?dos=on&win=on&lnx=on&gen=on&keywords=games
And this one has more shown:
http://www.rapideuphoria.com/cgi-bin/asearch.exu?dos=on&win=on&lnx=on&gen=on&keywords=game
(I do notice that quite a few do NOT include the source, so those would likely be of no use to you to study.)

What will he do with a wet appetite? What's that even mean? He desires wet food? He can eat spagetti super al dente?
I can understand a whetted appetite, but not a soggy one.
