1. fraustrated help euphoria does not work on vista

pls when i try to run the demo programms on the interpreter provided in version 3.1.1 it does not work.it keeps saying cant open file example to run a file ave.EX.i open the interpreter and type EX ave.EX then enter but it says cant open ave.EX.i dont know.is it the windows i use.none of the demo programs work so far even the simplest of them all.am fraustrated.how do i make it run.wud appreciate any vista user tell me how he or she did it.thanks.mail me om mexzony@yahoo.com

What do you mean by "open the interpreter"?
You need to open a console window first. Do you know how to do that? You could use the keyboard combination Windows-R and type cmd into the pop-up dialog box.
Once the console is open, what happens when you type in "ex"? Does you get the interpreter running? Do you see the message ...

Is this what you mean by "open the interpreter"?
The program 'ave.ex', is this a program you have written because its not one of the demo programs as far as I know.
To run any program, you need to tell the interpreter where it is, and if you just type in the program name, it will assume the program is in the current directory of the console window. Is that were 'ave.ex' is? If not, type in the full path to the program instead.
