Yes, button Reload, pressed in my Opera, forces the second message.
That strange page is "Message Posted OK", not "Thanks".

I'm confused as to why one would press Reload at the "Message posted OK" screen? I can fix this, but it'll be a pretty low priority.

Please fix it.
No one would normally do this, but there are many cases where a browser would automatically reload the page.
1) Firefox, or any other tab saving browser, the computer shuts down and is restarted. Firefox then reloads all your tabs...
2) At least CoJaBo's browser automatically reloads the tab when he switches between them.
3) If you accidently close a tab or window and then "Undo" it...
These are all cases where if you know there is a problem with reloading then you can avoid it. But this is not really user friendly imvho...

I pressed it just accidentally, without any intention, maybe just instead of the left arrow, as I can remember.

This is why you are supposed to return a 301 redirect as the result of a POST. I've said this before...
