Hey Guys,
Its been a long time. I was wondering if there was any new releases of Euphoria? There only seems to be Beta 2 still out. Also, how come the forums are still hosted on a external server? Anyways, good luck with further development.

Jeremy was asking for a release a few days ago. There are some bugs which need to be knocked out first though and development has been slow.
As for the forums, well, we should have had the openeuphoria.org name pointed to the current temporary host, and make this host permanent. But that's just my opinion, and apparently no one else cares.

"openeuphoria.org" is not owned by Jeremy or anyone else developing Euphoria, so we can't just change what its pointing to. That has to be done by Robert Craig. Also, do we want it pointing to a (private) server that is controlled by a single individual - 'cos that's where the forum is being hosted at the moment.
I suspect that a formal organization will need to be established as the rightful owner of the OpenEuphoria web and intellectual property ... and that is not going to be easy.

Anyone with ssh access to the current server hosting openeuphoria.org can redirected it to point to the new temporary host.

I feel that this is the right move, unless and until we have a formal organization established (which could take months or years), we should repoint the name. openeuphoria.org should not hang in limbo for that long.

Agreed. The important thing is to get the ball rolling here.

Well, it kinda sucks that development is slow, but hopefully things pick-up. Weren't we supposed to have 4 out like a while ago?

I agree. The move to cowgar.com was due to a speedy necessity but no one person should be sole owner of any major part of Euphoria.
