1. wxeuphoria problems in ubuntu 9.10

Hello. I updated Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 (fresh install). wxEuphoria has stopped working: "Could not open wxEuphoria library. Press enter to abort. " Has anyone had the same problem? Greetings. Marcelo

Possibly wxWidgets got upgraded, and wxEuphoria's library is now linked to the old (and now non-existant) version. You should be able to check this using ldd.

No, the linkages are all still Ok, except I believe that 9.04 shipped with g 4.3, and 9.10 ships with 4.4. I'm now in the same situation as Marcelo. I rebuilt the library, and now it works.

Ok, so the issue what that wxEuphoria's dependency on libg broke? (IIRC different versions of g are not guaranteed to be compatible with each other.)

Fixed. The contents of the package wxeupackage-src-linux-0-12-0.tar.gz can be compiled directly (includes configure and make). Only need to install the libgtk2.0-dev package. Greetings. Marcelo
