I strongly suspect most users stopped using this form back in the days of the endless 500 errors. So they don't even know that we've moved.

I disagree, there are still roughly the same number of view counts (and increases).
BUT... the 'diversion' page needs to do so much quicker - 1 or 2 seconds as opposed to 30 seconds, otherwise people may take a quick looks at the plain test, see resolved and permanently, and just hit the back button (or close the tab).
How about, big bold type, "Diverting to temporary site now!"

Another issue is that we don't have a valid captcha key for this domain and are still using the old one, so no one can sign up as a new user or reset their password.

Everytime web sites are changed I have re-signup. This is becoming a hassle.

Hmm. So Derek was not the only one who had issues logging into his account. (Derek got in by resetting his password, but only after Jeremy fixed the captcha issue.)
