1. Thanks all, got recursion stopped :)
I got my recursive procedure to stop itself shortly after the post
dated on the forum as Mon 19 15:12, and sent a post thanking all who helped,
but it never got to the forum!
My appologies to all those who responded after that, thinking I still had the
problem. I did try to let you all know that I had resolved it.
What I did was a combo of what Juergen and Ricardo said: instead of trying
to STOP the recursion, I only asked that it occur if "not_finished" were
true, & set it false if the end condition was met.
Others probably meant to do essentially the same, & I'll look at your posts
now.
