Is there a plan to achieve these things?

There is a plan for #1. I am unsure about #2 and #3. We, however, first need to find a Debian developer willing to insert our project. Does anyone know a Debian developer? Beta 1 is only a day or two away, so it's not to early to start working on this.
In fact, getting Euphoria in all the major Linux distributions is one of the methods we are going to use to help attract more users to Euphoria. We are willing to accept help w/any distribution. If you use a favorite one and are willing to help facilitate getting Euphoria inserted into that distribution, please let us know. It's very important.

Can the Euphoria interpreter (exu) and the Euphoria to C translator (ecu) be put into a directory like /usr/bin and still work properly? I think that's needed to have a proper Debian package.

Would it not be possible for openeuphoria.org or rapideuphoria.com to provide an Euphoria repository? This then could contain all versions, recent updates or even all user contributions. Debian, Ubuntu, etc. users just select it as a software source and it's all there in the package manager. Would also make it easy for any official repository to take up and use and maintain. Just an idea, I don't actually know how to do this or how hard it might be.
