1. How is my name being used?

I registered the user name LNettnay a while back and then promptly forgot the password. I've since seen it pop up a couple of times with somebody else's name at the bottom of the post. I am curious how this is happening.
Could one of the moderators take a look and see if they can figure it out?
Thank you,
The one and only Lonny Nettnay

Hi
General moderators don't have that power. But the master moderator may have. Depends whether ips are recorded.
Just a small thing, you say that you registered the name LNettnay, yet the name being used is Lnettnay, so there is a case difference, which during the registration process may not be checked for.

Curses! My stolen identity is unmasked. (Whips cape across face and slinks away)
As I recall, it was my first message after I registered "prickle". When I hit post, it somehow had Lnetnay instead of prickle and I had been logged out. Since then all has been as expected. Perhaps it is a forum bug that only affects the first post of new users.
You haven't heard the last of me! (maniacal laughter)

The forum system is undergoing a massive update and quite a few of these issues are going to be solved, especially in regards to user management, account retrieval, upper/lower issues, etc...
