Hey Guys,
I remember reading about this book awhile ago. I was wondering if it was out, or if there was any way I could obtain it. It looks pretty interesting.

I think this is it : The online version: http://www.axyp43.dsl.pipex.com/abgte.html .
Referenced here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euphoria_(programming_language) and here: http://www.usingeuphoria.com/ "Euphoric Mysteries Book II 2005.05.25 I had the privilege of talking with Bill Aitken, who's about to publish his book, "Euphoric Mysteries - A Beginner's Guide to Euphoria" (Table of Contents) If you have any questions, please ask(euphoric@cklester.com)!"
BTW: I have turned it into an OffLine version, if anyone can tell me where (on this Forum) to Post it, I would be happy to do so.
...Vern

Bill Aitken's Euphoric Mysteries is different from the ABGTE. Has anybody heard from Bill lately?

Oops!
Euphoric Mysteries is here:
Part I http://www.usingeuphoria.com/books/guiphoria/?entirebook
Part II http://www.usingeuphoria.com/books/eugui/?entirebook
I have turned Part I, into an OffLine version.
Part II, will be soon.
Its all a bit confusing to me. Bill Aitken vs ckLester. Not sure what the connection between the 2 is, because www.usingeuphoria.com is ckLester's site. ...Vern

No no no! That is not Euphoric Mysteries! GUIphoria and EuGUI are online books by c.k.lester and are different than Bill Aitken's Euphoric Mysteries, which was going to be a published book... and might still be. Who knows?!
(LOL. Derek, I don't think creole should turn c.k.lester into an HTML link! )

It'd be funnier if you were Mr. Travel or Mr. Jobs
c.k.jobs

Hmm, I wonder why c.k.lester is changed but c.k.jobs isn't. http://c.k.jobs is theoretically a valid web site.

Your ignorance is showing again. This is clearly a side effect of the inefficiencies of pass by value.
But seriously, it seems to make a difference if it's the first thing on the line:
c.k.jobs c.k.jobs
c.k.lester c.k.lester

I've just uploaded a new version of creole that tightens the short-form-url criteria. It's not perfect as some things are really ambiguous eg. john.h.jobs
it seems to make a difference if it's the first thing on the line:
c.k.jobs c.k.jobs
c.k.lester c.k.lester
www.openeuphoria.org www.openeuphoria.org
Yeah, I haven't addressed this yet.
In the meantime, if you preview a post and something comes out as a URL link but you don't want it to, just enclose it in three braces ... eg. {{{one.a.jobs}}} will show up as one.a.jobs and not one.a.jobs

Also, Bill Aitkens says, he is about two months away from finishing his book. That would be great! ...Vern

Ok, I've uploaded a fix to creole that now finds these short-form URL's at the start of lines.
Jeremy, can you test it out and if okay put the new creole onto the forum site?

Yes, however, I'm a bit concerned as the forum software has not bee updated since, maybe around SVN 1500. It may take a bit of work to get the forum software updated and I don't have a lot of time this weekend. However, if not this weekend, I'll get it done the first part of the week.
