1. Problem with build 1638

I have been using Alpha 2, due to some issues with Alpha 3. Today I downloaded build 1638 with svn and the 1638 binaries from eubins. This seems to run ok. But any error, whether it be a parse error or runtime makes no difference, produces only a message on the console which then closes. The only way to see the error message is by running the program with exwc.exe. No ex.err file is generated.

Is this a bug or some kind of feature I haven't heard about? I don't think this could be a problem with my system as Alpha 2 does not have this problem.

I am using XP.

This sounds like a bug. Can you please read Bug Reports and Feature Requests and then report a bug? The link for the Bug Tracker can also be found at the top of these pages.

I am not on a Windows box right now but will be tomorrow morning and will look into this when I start working off the bug list tomorrow.
