1. "ED" hangs under DOS

Hi,
I just downloaded and installed Euphoria on my plain DOS laptop. It's using DOS 6.22 (no Windows). I set the PATH and EUDIR variables according to the instructions in the documentation, and ex.exe seems to run fine with the example programs such as "key.ex" and "ascii.ex" but when I try to run "ed.ex" or even the "ed.bat" included with the distribution, the system simply hangs. Control-break does nothing, no keys do anything (though ctrl-alt-del seems to work to reboot).
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

We have found some bugs while running under DOS. Can you replace your ed.ex with this one and see if that fixes your problem?

Hm, and remove the 2 trace lines at the top.

Or, forget about the trace lines, I just updated the source, they are gone now.

Are you using Eu ver 4.0alfa3?
If you are interested on a stable Euphoria for daily use, see at: http://www.achury.com.ve/eudos/eudos.html I put there some zip files with stable 3.11 version.
If you want to test the new features and you are ready to report errors, you are wellcome to work with 4.0a3, Are really needed testers and developers for DOS environment.
