OMMITTED, as with most languages, you haveto just open some code and try to understand why the programmer did what they did on each line,, then you'll see what you need to do when you want code to execute. But i do recommend the compiled refman over the Eu oem refman, just for ease of use; you can find it on the Eu user contributions page, i think. Kat, thinking OMMITTED isn't stupid.
3. How about a new forum?

I don't know if this been discussed before, and I've might as well just put my head in a hornet's hive - but here I go; I've never found the Euphoria forum user friendly. It's difficult to find information, and all the topics are put together in one thread. Now that its been decided to go for open source euphoria, wouldn't it be prudent to implemend a new forum as well - one that gives you a better overview of all the topics that are started out there? Sounds good. Just as long as it's easier to find old topics, and being able to trace the whole conversation. ZNorQ.

Hi Or we could just use uboard (see below), which is my preferred method of group communicating, and which has been set up and running for a few years now, and which ahas separate topics, so those that wish to discuss eu matters need not wade through pages of developer squabble - discussion - over how to implement slicing off of the first element of a 30000 element sequence, in order to save 0.00001 millisecs in a for next when implementing a switch : case : goto conditional. (breath) Did I say I liked forums? Chris PS aku, that TAR idea looks good, I'll try it. Cheers. But find with -o should produce true to the expression 'or file matches "*.e*" ' - it doesn't seem to - so I just split them off into separate find lines. PPS - or discussing off topic linux issues Chris http://euallegro.wikispaces.com http://members.aol.com/chriscrylex/euphoria.htm http://uboard.proboards32.com/ http://members.aol.com/chriscrylex/EUSQLite/eusql.html

No email, no RSS is a bit of a bitch though. Pete

Members can subscribe to forums or specific topics if they choose to receive email notifications. If people want to help out, it could use moderators and some admins. And I welcome people to help develop the site too, as it is more-or-less just a forum site right now. Right now you only get email notification if someone has replied to your post, or the full message if it's a reply to a private message.
