1. 4.0a3 Installer, input?

The installer has been enhanced quite a bit and I am looking for feedback.

One bug was already filed, which deals with prompting to overwrite every single file during the backup. Other than that, comments?

I did want to mention how the installer deals with the environment variables. You have the option of updating the environment or not updating the environment. If you choose to update, it will set the EUINC directory to be the installation path. It will also add %EUDIR%\bin to your path. If you choose not to update the environment, it will create in the installation path a batch files named setenv.bat. That will issue SET EUINC and SET PATH commands so that you can easily configure just one command shell to work with 4.0a3.

This functionality will continue in the final release, however, the update environment option will be enabled by default. During the Alpha/Beta stages, it is disabled by default as to not change your production environment.

I'm sorry, have you updated it on the sourceforge sit, as I dl'd it again, and its still asking for permission to overwrite the previously backed up files.

It was a good installer! I installed it somewhere else in the end.

No, I have not updated the installer. It will not be updated until the next release, sorry. The bug you are refering too, however, in the bug tracker as Interwiki link failed for BUG:2686167, BUG:2686167.
