C'mon, this is the worst troll I've ever seen here. Don't encourage this person... just ignore it.

Hello, all. My fault. A newspaper here in Buenos Aires published a small note of mine that mentioned the "Find Duplicate Files" program, and also encouraged contacting the EU site. Apparently, this person did so, and was "not satisfied" with it. I hope some other people from Argentina will be attracted to the language and make useful contributions. Sorry for the "mala sangre" (distress) this episode had occasioned, if any. Regards. ----- Original Message ----- From: Patrick Barnes <mrtrick at gmail.com> To: <EUforum at topica.com> Sent: Monday, July 19, 2004 8:20 PM Subject: Re: EU is a disaster! > > > *Puts up "Don't Feed the Troll" sign* > > So how do you think we will respond? > 1. No problem. He was probably jealous because he couldn't create anything himself It's obvious from reading his post that he knows nothing about either Euphoria or C, and most likely knows very little about programming in general. Once he grows up, he may change his opinion. Irv

Well, I don't know. I am assuming he is from Argentina because his e-mail ends in .ar, and this happened just after my note appeared in the newspaper. But I have the slightest idea of whom he is. Several people contacted me after that, because my e-mail was included in the note, and it might even be that he was one of them.
