To use the "click on" buttons for Creole formatting, are we supposed to be able to select some portion of text and then click on the appropriate button to generate the correct formatting "code"??? If so, that does NOT work for me at all. Or am I wrong about how it's supposed to work?
Using IE 6 on WinXP.

You are doing it correctly. The javascript behind those buttons is broken and has been since day one. No one has fixed this yet.
I use Opera and the error message I get is ...
