The XML files have to go in C:\Program Files\Notepad (or wherever you have it installed). Don't modify the existing files, but simply drop userDefineLang.xml into the directory. When you open Notepad, you'll find Euphoria listed at the bottom of the languages list.

Hi Selgor,
There are two ways to set up the Notepad editor - with "%appdata% \notepad" and without this strange feature. The second way is better, I think, but the first one is something main for the author.
To go by the second way you'd *check* the very top box on the page of setup options - Don't use %APPDATA%
Then your Notepad will work with the Euphoria syntax file (file from my package) placed just in the Notepad directory.
To go by the first way you'd just press OK or what else the setup program asks you (Next, etc).
Then you must to place the Euphoria sintax file into the %APPDATA% folder.
On my machine this folder is:
C:\Documents and Settings\zz\Application Data\Notepad\
zz - it is just my user name on my machine.
On your machine, it is yours user name for log in to Windows.
This topic was already discussed here while ago, but search on EUforum currently doesn't work, so try to reinstall Notepad or just find that strange %APPDATA% on your machine.
On my machine I have two Notepad's installed - with and without %APPDATA%. Without - as Russian Notepad, and with - as English Notepad+. See, 3 "+".
