Anybody have any insights as to whether or not Euphoria can/will work on Google's mobile phone platform, Android? It's just a Linux OS, right?

I don't think so. I believe that you have to use Java:
http://code.google.com/android/what-is-android.html
I suppose if someone created jeuphoria(?!) you might be able to do something using Android with something euphoria-like.

I don't think so. I believe that you have to use Java: http://code.google.com/android/what-is-android.html I suppose if someone created jeuphoria(?!) you might be able to do something using Android with something euphoria-like.
What about a Euphoria-to-Java translator? We have one for C. Why not?!

Let's call it Javoria.
Some years ago David Cuny started a Euphoria to Java project. Somehow it fell by the wayside. Maybe someone can continue the project.
