Hi Irv,
Why not to submit this package to just The RDS Archive too, in parallel with your new Web-page ???

Hello Igor:
I will do that, and will include a link to my website also, where there will be earlier versions available in case the latest is too broken.

Ok, thanks Irv, I've downloaded it now.

I hope the newer version of EuGTK is a bit more Windows friendly, if it is supposed to be cross platform.
Last time I tried to use it (6 years ago), I remember missing a ton of dlls, taking some time to figure out which version of expat.dll to download, and then being stuck with a glyph that wasn't expected to be 0 in most demos, if not all, causing them to crash. I scraped the whole thing after two fruitlesss weeks. Hopefully it works better now.
Perhaps my being under Win98 at the time didn't help.

Ron Tarrant had it working quite well in Windows - 2000 / XP. I haven't heard or seen posts from him in quite a while, apparently he isn't around anymore. I have exactly zero interest in anything to do with Windows, so if it's left to me, there won't be a Windows version.

I've been using the 2.10 version under both Windows (XP) and Linux without a single code change needed. You're still listed as an admin on Sourceforge, Irv. Since you appear to be taking back the helm, I'll be happy to step aside. One addition I had made but not committed was the addition of gSpawn. I'd appreciate if you could include that in the 4.0 version.

I'll take a look at spawn. As for Sourceforge - I know it's good to be there in order to be taken seriously, but it was just too much bother. I can update my own website with a click, sourceforge takes a lot of work (or did, last time I tried). I don't even remember my admin password there anymore. Maybe, when I get this to Beta or better, you could post it there. Until then, my website is updated every day or so, RDS when there is a major addition.
