So, let's say 5 people edit their copies of the source code (without accidentally or intentionally introducing bugs into the working code). There are several hundred changes required to the documentation.
Let's say 5 people notice a problem with map.e. They check the ticket system to see if it's already been reported.
It works like this:
1. Find a problem with the docs. 2. Check ticket system. Has it already been reported? Yes. Goto 3. No. Create a ticket for it. 3. Goto 1
This seems like a good, centralized solution for collaboration.
Does that sound reasonable?
