Ticket #975:
matherr() is now obsolete

Newer versions of glibc have removed the matherr() exception mechanism: https://linux.die.net/man/3/matherr
The matherr() mechanism is supported by glibc, but is now obsolete: new applications should use the techniques described in math_error(7) and fenv(3).

Is this a duplicate of https://openeuphoria.org/ticket/974.wc or is it different somehow?

Hello Jim! The other ticket is for the exact same issue. It was created by myself before Greg instructed the user to do so. I assigned it to myself because I couldn't leave it blank.

Greg hasn't said anything so I assume he agrees. I'm closing this ticket as a duplicate.
