OpenEuphoria.org Ticket #360: Date/Time - Server store in UTC, User selectable timezone offset, User editable format

  1. The server should store everything in UTC.
  2. The user should be able to set their UTC offset.
  3. The user should be able to specify their date/time format.

About specifying the date/time format. It would be nice to be able to still use fuzzy dates but not make things too complicated. Maybe we can have two fields actually, Fuzzy Date Time Frame and Date Format: 

Fuzzy Timeframe: [_____________] - Combo box 
Date/Time Format: [____________] - %m/%d/%Y %H:%M type

The Fuzzy Timeframe combo box could contain items such as:

  • Fuzzy Always
  • Fuzzy < 1 day
  • Fuzzy < 1 week
  • Fuzzy < 1 month
  • Fuzzy < 1 year
