Patrick:

Cheapbytes has a Debian CD for 20.60 guilders, delivery included.
The problem with downloading Linux is that there are THOUSANDS of files,
and you don't know which ones you need, unless you are Linus Torvalds.
When you get a CD, it will have all the files, and as you install, the install
program will move the appropriate files from the CD to your hard disk.
Most installations automatically set up windows, a window manager, and
all the nice stuff you are used to seeing with Windows 9x.
