if it is installed, type "startx" to start...X smile

I never bought a linux distribution, there are many magazines that offer
one in their CD. This way I got RedHat 4.1, 5.2, Mandrake 5.2 and 6.0,
a slackware ... there are also linux CD included with many computing
books , some of them offer three different distributions.
BTW I don't remember having seen a debian. Don't know why.

If you can't find, maybe I can send you such a CD through Physical
mail... I'll be in holidays for a month next week so we haven't a lot
of time.
