Forked from Re: Nightly builds
Proposal: VPS server USA hosted
Provider www.Host1plus.com
Ram 1Gb, CPU cores 2, HDD 30Gb, Bandwidth 1Tb, IP's 2, Backups 2, OS CentOS v6 64
Standard full root access. This is $252 for 2 years which I'll pay upfront for.
Probably not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for normally ;)
Anyone have practical experience with host1plus, especially if there may be issues with the Euphoria requirements?
No feedback yet, so I have created a fork so that everyone is aware... If no negative feedback, I'll go ahead with this in 24 hours time.
With the two IP's, its easier to have more than one URL pointing to this box; the Euphoria admins should decide what gets hosted.
Maybe we get the nightly builds on it too ;)

That just seems like a lot of money to me. There's a really good deal from BlueVM for a KVM VPS on LowEndBox this morning.
BlueVM – 4 anniversary offers starting at $12.99/year in six locations across the USA
KVM4 | - |
---|---|
2GB RAM | more RAM! |
4 CPU cores | more CPU! |
40GB disk space | more storage! |
2TB bandwidth | more bandwidth! |
1Gbps uplink | more uplink? |
1x IPv4 address | less one IP |
no backups | |
KVM/Feathur | more Feathur! |
$6.99/month | only $83.88/year |
Order here |

OK, if the backups can be automated by the admin guys, using bandwidth to pump/FTP to another online resource
then all needs are covered. If everyone is happy I'll do the signup at about 08h00 GMT Sunday (tomorrow) morning.
Who should I send the logon info to....?
Cheers Alan
