   You might check your soundcard and be sure that you don't have any
   IRQ or DMA conflicts. Try running the program on another PC with
   a different soundcard.
   You did not mention what OS you are using but there are some routines
   that are in the win32lib.ew that were written for use in WIN32 and
   are obsolute and may not be compatible with WINNT or WIN98 because
   these OS's use some newer functions especially in Multimedia functions.
