I think I'll start out with EuOS simple first. A file manager and text editor and icons for them, and then build from there. An alternative Windows-type "shell" for DOS might be a good idea. First I'll make it in Eu and see how it goes. I do have Borland C++ ya know... To Hawke: That would be obsurd to start out with all that And besides, who needs DirectX? DOS is more powerful than Win95 anyhew. To Carl: Thanks for the tip (the floppy booting one). I'll probably see what happens I guess. Does anyone here know how to make disk images? There is this OS called FreeDOS, and it's compatible with MS-DOS, but it's FREE! I think I'll try to make it to take advantage of FreeDOS features, but keep in tune with MS-DOS. That'll bring down the price... Win98 is like $120+ dollars. What I want is the price to be like $20.00 or cheaper. If Micro$oft gets scared (never know, if it's a big success), they'll probably offer me like $200 million for rights to the software anyways Anyone can help with this. We can basically toss some code around, glue 'em together, and make a buck If anyone else DOES help, maybe we should have a company like THE EUPHORIA GROUP or something equally Fortune 500ic Besides, we'd have 200+ great minded programmers who don't rely on C/C++ for much (except me, I use them all the time . LONG LIVE EUPHORIA! - Nate
