Hello, who knows the fastest way to find an angle of a right angled triangle, given the length of two of its sides. It doesn't need to be too acurate, so perhaps it can be made fast by using integer numbers for the results. eg: /| / | / |a / _| /______|_| A b C Lengths a and b are known, and angle C is 90 degrees. I need to find angle A. Thanks if you can help. They didn't teach us that this year at school, and i can't remember how to do it. Once I've figured out how to find the angle, I'll have a new version of my Death Factory Game, it's now called "Ground Zero", It doesn't seem to like its names much ;) It has characters in it now, But they're not on teams, and don't have ai either, so you just kill them with each other if you feel like it, so theres no challenge to it yet or anything, but it is still pretty cool!! Run it in dos, Windows does too much disk swapping.. :( It will be on my home page, hopefully in a few days.. http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Peaks/1899/index.html Also, does anyone know how to set up a palette, using colors that have been poked into memory, with out using peek and all_palette(), is there some memory address i can copy the palette to or something? i have multiple palettes, and change between them often, so it does slow the game down by a noticable amount. (the colors poked are already in the range 0..63 so no dividing by 4 is nesecary). Now ya better help me or i'll get annoyed ;) Thanx, Mark / Liquid-Nitrogen; -----------------------
