Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough with the first post... I am not suggesting that Euphoria try to compete with the lower level languages for building commercial games on the Playstation2. I am say that there is a golden opportunity available right now for people who believe that this gaming platform also looks like the next wave in home computing power. It is NOT committed to the Windows system. It HAS NO operating system yet. It contains the MOST powerful chip of its type ever created for anything. It will sell over 40 million units just for the consoles, just like its older sibling. What I am saying is that this is not about adding to it as a gaming machine, but look at it with the intent that it will possibly become a solidly established platform, capable of performing all of the things that we know do with PC's. I would like to know if there is anyone else out there who wants to help investigate the possiblities of this becoming a Euphoria break-out, capable of supplying a shell to build super-applications on, not just games. Anyone out there interested? If you are, then go check out some of the sites for this thing, such as www.absolute-playstation.com and there are many others where people are just going crazy over this machine and its potential.
