Thanks for everyone who is doing testing and reporting back. To avoid cluttering the forum, I'd prefer to have bug reports/feature requests in this thread, or create an issue on github.

Hallo and thanks for your great work.

Two things i found

The string_color variable seems not to be loaded in load_wee_conf().

The cursor color is not changing and i found no option to change it, so the cursor vanishes if i choose a dark background. I made a quick'n dirty fix in wee.exw init_edit(), works for me. 

 ssm(SCI_SETCARETFORE,xor_bits(background_color,#ffffff))
