At the time, I recall asking the community for people who had the same feeling about DOS as you and would be willing to put in work to keep it going. No one raised their hand, IIRC. This sort of thing totally fits Irv's comment about ancient computers.

I raised a paw, but it got hammered back down with the requirement that all OE development required C coding. Plus there's a lot of old resentment in this place. I use a dos console several times a day, and i use EU to call console utilities and dos functions.
