...Take Euphoria 3.1.1, add 64-bit support, std libraries, compatibility with OSs, few hot built-ins as error handling and Unicode... And the sky is the limit.

Euphoria should fallback to version 3.1.1 or some alpha version of 4.0.x, and keep the core as small as it possibly could be. (Sorry for joining the party late).

That's just my personal opinion, with a lot of respect to the dev team and to OpenEuphoria.
