Before making any major changes, I will start with a proposed home page, and perhaps a few other pages, which i will be editing and perfecting before making any major changes to the current important pages.
If no one else chimes in within, say, half a week or so, then it's probably safe to assume that no one disagrees with your proposed changes and you can go ahead and change the originals.
