    Lewis, not many people download euphoria programs unless the
contribution's page points to it. Not from a mail. (download mail-disconnect
is a common thing for those who dont have free-local-calls like for example
all dutch people, except those that have a tv-cable connection)
    I did get the file though. I was checking up on some of the eu-sites
around (with your TGUI, and a few other things in mind) .. ps. people, have
we all noticed, Irv has put his Euphoria Archive down ? Its a real loss in
my opinion.
    Anyways, people, those who use TextGUI want this file. It doesnt add
bells' and whistles, it mostly just speed things up. Like loading a file. A
few other minor, helpfull adjustments as well. And a different color scheme.
(After this plug you must feel much better..

    Lewis Townsend suggested a better value () function.(good idea) I
personally would have expected an (built-in) value function that just calls
the same expression parsing code, as was used to parse the inlined
expression in Euphoria. (a ? 4 + 4 etc.) It will be faster, easier, and
could be used for much more uses.

However, you can alwasy go to your TextGUI directory and you will find a
full expression evaluator (beta though). I havent tried it out myself. But
David Cuny is pretty reliable resource, dont you think ? Anyways, the whats
& abouts might be better explained by David himself.

    Eh... you were referring to Ad, I think. However his conclusion was
quite right. "untermensch" is the word *hitler* used to describe Russians,
Jews, etc. and killed afterwards. (hypocryt though, he himself was a
'rejected' jew, and had a child with a jew's woman. Just for Nate, if he
*is* secretly listening..)

    Matt, Noah meant that ironically. Why is he a jerk ? What did he do to
*you* ? Nate, on the other hand,  "who has said sorry", shouldnt be flames
anymore according to *you*.

    People spending one or two days, or may even lost some "paid-for"
programs, or a document of your father that he wrote the other night, and
wanted to print out today, just before he was gonna use it in an important
buissnis (Im gonna look this word up some day) meeting...

    This is fiction. But may well not be. We have no clue, how many money
Nate has cost people. Since most of the victims lost their email client.
Within a few days, we will be hearing from the worst him victims, like Einar
for example.

And yet, it seems to be more interesting than this little useless trash you
call a reply.
Why in the world would we start a thread and put an experation date on it ?
It was expected, not supposed, to last a week or so, and therefor
interestingly called 'Issue of the week' .. now I wonder.. did you *really*
*really* didnt know that ?

No offense, Matt. I can see you are very enthousiastic about Euphoria and
the list, and that you mean it all well. I have to tie myself up at times as
well, to keep myself from responding to every single email. Why dont you get
yourself some rope as well ?

Here are some nice rules, which I try to follow most of the time:
(I used to be quite like you, posting *way* too many messages)

You are currently reaching the first level. Try to get deeper into the tree
of wonder before you post a message.  Maybe built it up, the first week you
will try to get to level 2, week after to level 3. And in the end, you will
only be posting those mails of you that *are* of interest. (and some really
are, but half of your messages are totally unrelated)

* What is the thread about ?
    - Do I have a contribution ?
        - Will it be of interest to the others ?
    - Do I have a question about it ?
        - Does it have anything at all do with the thread ?
            - Does it still apply to programming ?
                - Are there other 'easy' ways to get this information that I
could use instead ?
    - Do I have a comment about it ?
        - Does it still apply to the thread ?
            - Is it about programming at all ?
                - Do I know what Im talking about here ?
    - Do I have an opinion about it ?
        - Did I understand the other one's or persons motivations/arguments
clearly ?
            - Do I disagree with any of them ?
                - Does the counter-argument to one of the argument also
arguments the initial discussion, or just the argument ?
* Do I have a question or suggestion/idea ?
    - Does it have anything to do with computers ?
        - Does it have anything to do with programming ?
            - Does it have anything to do with Euphoria ?
* Do I have anything else to comment or say (not eu-related) ?
    - Will it be of interest to the majority of the group ?
        - Will the information itself be new to this group ?
            - Do I know what im talking about ?
