I like global variables...but I have been trying to understand an
.ex file with 1800 lines, about 40 global vars and 30 or so subroutines.
Furthermore, the variables have names such as B, A, QQ, Z etc with no
comments/definitions. Very difficult to know who does what, when, to whom, why.
If you use global vars, give them meaningful names with
defining/purpose comments. Use names which can be efficiently searched for
and recognized.
