Hi Irv,
I have had some problems with my various mail programs. Last time I was
disconected randomly. Not sure why. Got to send this fast. Am playing
with your gui now, have you ever succesfully bound a program? It works up
until I check the properties, then bails.

Hi.

I just tried binding (using -clear_routines). The properties display
works ok,
but (this is weird) the text displayed in the edit controls is wrong:
l
i
k
e

t
h
i
s
!
Text in the non=editable controls is ok. I'll see if I can find out what
is
causing this.

Same here... sort of... Basically, something's wrong in the HD space
properties... and I have no idea why... Just one thing, Irv: How come it
errors out when I try to go update/save the DB? tried tracing it...
nothing. So I am sorta confused on that part.

Thanx.

Hey, at last some feedback on my GUI! Thanks guys! Now I can fix
problems that
don't show up on my own pc.
First, thanx to Monty, I found 2 naming conflicts that only cause
problems
when the program is bound (works fine when run as EX DBF.)

I think the Disk Space function fails because I check space on C and D
without bothering to see if there IS a D: drive (or no CD) Gotta add
that.
On the other hand, Bonn, if you _do_ have a D: drive, and it still
fails,
please let me know.

Irv

If you delete all the records, you get an error. I know of the problem,
but
haven't got an elegant fix. The simple fix is to refuse to delete the
last remaining record. You can edit that record's contents, however, to
start a
new database. I've posted the updated DBF.ZIP file to my website, with
this and the diskspace fixes in place.

Keep testing - I appreciate it!

When I had a D: drive, it did still fail, with the same error. Now, it'd
barf more easily... :)

Thanx!
