Hi to all. Making some experiences with game programming, I found that using music other than wave could be a good thing, like using MIDI and MOD, but trying to program some stuff to play these file formats, well, I bump into some awfull computer data I/O. I don't know too much about complicated sequence-length (MIDI) data, so, I found just some noise where it needed to be music. Right, skipping all the blabla stuff, here I am asking for help: anyone could send me, or point some music players ? They could be .MOD or .MIDI or another music format (less WAVE, please!), and they need to play music in background, on a pure DOS environment, with at least PLAY, STOP features, and, if possible, freeware. Other stuff, sent with the players will be apreciated, like some music editors to the players Thank you!
