1. Baby Namer
well i've just finished a releasable version of a little program i've
been working on called "MikPos Namer". it's sort of a baby namer type
thing where you can enter in certain attributes about this person and it
comes up with a few generated names about them
if you've been wondering what my pesky little questions to david cuny
about his gui were about...well this is it :)
you can get it from the www page at

there you'll find two .zip files, namer.zip and talker.zip...namer.zip
is the main program with some necessary data files and config files
(which are all user changeable btw!). sorry there's no source code
available in this zip file :(...as soon as robert craig and junko get
back from their vacation maybe i'll up to them and includ some source
code
the second .zip file, talker.zip, is all the stuff needed if you're
interested (or foolish) enough to try to work in the speech
synthesis...so basically it'll say (or attempt to) all the names that
it's created
everyone now and then i see complaints on this listserv about ppl not
talking about what projects they're working on and what not, so here it
is :)
/any/ feedback would be appreciated...even if it's as trivial as a
spelling mistake :)
