I'm not sure, but I think 2*PI rad = 360 degrees.
In that case 1 rad = 180/PI degrees
So you can get it in degrees with:

A = 180*arctan(a/b)/PI    -- A is now in degrees.

You must obiously define the constant PI.
Please let me know if I'm wrong.
