Yes. I believe it's a yachting term. An emergency lash-up to get you

What are you moaning about again? There are plenty of non-Christians
on this list, Jews, Buddhists, Moslems etc, even damned atheists like
me, and we have *never* seen them pushing their religious views or
philosophies. But we have had plenty of very unsubtle propaganda,
even plain bullshit from a bunch of fanatics on your side of the
fence.
