1. Jacques' routines
The two recent fixes to doswrap.e are now available
on the Archive page in Jacques Deschenes'
jd.zip and sb.zip (his collection and his Sound Blaster code in
Machine-Level Access).
I discovered today that the DosSeek() fix of last week didn't
actually make it into the .zip files on the Web - only the description of
the fix. Some sort of mix up on my part. Anyway
both fixes are there now for those who want to use his doswrap.e
Again, I should mention that I believe that normal Euphoria file routines
are the way to go for almost everyone. If you are using Jacques
routines for the extra speed, I think you should make some
actual measurements before you go down that path. Remember
his routines do not work on WIN32.
