at the end of program change the line
for index = 1 to length(topics) - 1 do --squish EOF
so it reads
for index = 1 to length(topics) do
don't need the -1, had an extra CR at end of my copy
of topics.txt that threw everything off...thought
it was the EOF marker messing with me
duh...
