1. Reply-To

Terry,

I'm talking about a technical issue. Private mail and public mail, its n=
o
difference. I welcome both.

But, take a look at your header.

Sender: owner-euphoria at cwisserver1.mcs.muohio.edu
this line means you sent it through the list.
=2E..
Reply-To: constant at flash.net
Yet this is your reply-to line. I would like it to say Euphoria (and the=

list address). Somehow your mailer is overriding someone. Mail sent to
the list should have a reply-to from the list, so when I choose reply the=

mail actually went where it can from.

2. Re: Reply-To

I don't really know how to solve this...I have my "reply to" address in the
"reply to" area, because I use my email for more than responding to Euphoria
messages. My suggestion would be to either not respond to my messages, or
to carefully copy the euphoria mail server address into the TO: field in
your reply. Sorry for any inconvenience...

PS whoever it was that was trying to "Simply" explain short circuiting, it
didn't seem real simple the way you explained it. Maybe a little better
text formatting would have helped, or maybe use of a few more English
language words between the Euphoria language parts...
My understanding is that you are saying I would like to evaluate "a"
expression by saying:
    if a = 1 then
        do this
    elsif a= 1 and a = 2 then
        do that
            exit
     elsif a = 1 and a = 2 and a = 3 then
        do the other thingamajig
            exit
    else
        don't do anything at all
    end if
If done sequentially according to the way you expect them to come out, it
should short circuit itself just fine right???

Monty:

I have my Reply to: address set to irv at ellijay.com. I don't change it
when
replying to maillist messages, but as you can see by replying to
maillist
messages from me, the mail goes to the list.

Yours, Daniel's and Terry's messages go back to the sender, not to the
list,
while the rest go to the list.

I haven't been able to find a setting anywhere to change this
in my 4 email programs. Sorry I don't have a clue what to do.
Could it be a problem with the way your ISP handles mail?

I think it could be the changes they made in the mailist server. None of my
mails headers go in to the correct boxes that they used to, the headers are
changed. My mail goes into and out of IE 4.0.
I send from my ISP into geocities mail server and it gets resent from
there. My primary mailing account is at GEOCITIES.
Sorry if it inconveniences anyone, but...I can't do anything to change
it...maybe it is the way some of the users reply to buttons are wired. Or
it could be the mail list not adding the correct reply to addresses.
Not planning on signing off of the list though.
