1. Registering Euphoria

Quite a few messages have mentioned items in individual wish lists for
Euphoria--including some of mine. I would like to make a few
observations.

• I downloaded Euphoria and tried it. Within a few hours I saw that it
was a worthy program and registered it. (It has since proven to be
better and more elegant than my initial impressions. I have been
programming since 1967. I have not been as pleased with a language since
Turbo Pascal 1.0 took the CP/M world by storm in the early 80s.)

• For those of you who want your particular enhancements added but who
have not registered, I suggest you register. RDS has to make money. If
RDS can get a large enough cash flow from the sales of Euphoria, then
RDS will be able to spend more time implementing some of the
enhancements being requested. The obvious fact of life is that RDS has
to make money, and the more it makes, the more enhancements it can
provide. Unless of course Rob is an eccentric millionaire who just wants
to provide a terrific language to people because he doesn't have
anything better to do. smile

• In short, if you want improvements, register and encourage other
people to use and register Euphoria.
