Hi Luis, something went wrong.I received the file as a message file not a ZIP file. I had to cut the text header of and encode it with a program WINCODE to convert it back to a ZIP file. You should for example include your text as a file in your zip file and send the zip file.This is one of the many possibilities. No bad fellings, Karlheinz =

I believe this is due to the listserv. I use Eudora lite. It happily decodes anything posted to me privatly , but anything from the list appears in the body of the message. I used to have this too, but now I never see the list-server pre-data (sender, poster, etc.). It seems IE4 (Outlook Express) cuts away the message header that the list-serv puts at the beginning, and it handles *all* decoding/encoding nice and well. I click on the paperclip and a list of files appears. I've chosen the zip-file and winzip appears. It seems to me, it does consider the message wrap, (the list-server puts another message header around it) the real mail header (as it should), but the old message header is hidden and interpreterd also. I'm not that big a fan of MS, or any other company spending more than half their income in marketing, but some products of them *do* work. (And it's free, wel free.. you need to install IE4.. giving them it an advantage over other browsers Ralf Nieuwenhuijsen nieuwen at xs4all.nl

Yehaw! Luis has got his email attachments figured out! >Hi all, > > Let's see if this works.I resend the mouse programs zipped but i'm > not sure if it will arrive safely.Please,drop me a line with your > comments. > > Thanx, > Luis Yeah, one thing: "mouse.zip" tried to download as "mouse.exe". I renamed it in the dialogue box to "mouse.zip" again but it saved as "mouse.zip.exe". This is NOT a complaint but yours is the only downloads that does this. I use Netscape 4.0 but I don't think that can be the whole problem because like I said, no other downloads insist upon saving as an *.exe file. Also these *.exe files are NOT executable, I always have to rename them to use them. This is not a big deal but if you can fix it, I, for one, would appreciate it. :) Later, Lewis Townsend |\ ____ _ _ _ _ __ | \ | __/ || / | // || / __ \ | \ ||_ || //|| // || ||__\| | \ | _| || // || // || \___ \ | |\ \ ||__ ||// ||// || |\__|| | | \ \|___\ |_/ |_/ || \____/ | | \ \ _____ _______ | | \ \ | __ \ | _ _ | | | \ \ ||__|| |/ | | \| | | \ \ | __ / | | | |______\ \ || \\ | | |___________\ || || |_| Keroltarr at hotmail.com ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
