Hi, Chris. The last time I checked, there was already a Euphoria group on Usenet, but I haven't checked for a long time. No one was using it. Also, if you use the web interface, you can sort by thread. Your mail reader should also be able to sort by subject line. It should be relatively easy to filter out the messages and/or subjects that you are not interested in. I can't remember who suggested it, but I do like the idea of putting the general subject tag (such as [GEN] [WIN] [LINUX] etc.) into the message subject line. I think that Travis Beatty made an excellent humor post a couple of months back with some, umm, detailed tags for subject lines. But I guess my point is that I think that the listserv works great for most people. Feel free to try to get people to change, though! ------ >Hello, > > This is just my opinion, but... > >1./ > > As someone said in an earlier post, the listserv is NOT sufficient. More often than >not, my posts don't even make it to the list. As well, I spend a lot of time sorting >throught the 'Junk' that I'm not interested in. > > I believe it is essential that Rob investigate a better forum, where posts are sorted >into topics AT LEAST! Please Rob, if only for the benifite of RDS. I've done some >investigating in the past for RDS, as well as for my own site, and I do agree, that the >free boards are just too much a pain in the behind. Not to mention, I don't think they >would like the idea of a Commercial business utilizing their FREE forum. > I've seen many that allow users to select which topics they would like to have sent >to their email. This I like very much. This allows the users to keep in touch with topics >of interest. Although, they would still have to check the forum periodically for new >topics.
