If you're running XP (2K, too?), you can look at Event Viewer. Run "eventvwr.msc" from the Run box. Look for a Save Dump event, the ID is 1001= .=20 ID 1001 is for a reboot from a bugcheck. You may find something else in the= =20 1000-range that pertains to the problem.
