hm..i also have another question that i'm thinking of at the moment because it just happened
Randomly, my program will shut down for a reason I have not figured out,
because usually it reboots my computer. (This last time it did not though.)
And when I return and try to re-start the mud program. It won't start
because all of the data files are missing. The only thing I could think of
initially was to check to make sure there is a close(file) for every
open(file). I've checked this, the best I can, and unless I'm overlooking
one, there IS a close() for every open(). It doesn't bother the program
(i.e *.e or *.ex or *.exw) files , but only the ones that the program
saves itself as data files. I DO know that my computer is almost
full...umm..it has about 1 out of 8 GB of space left. I wouldn't THINK this
would be low enough to cause problems like this. (I do have a new one on
the way for other reasons, though.) But, could this be caused by my
computer? Or, does anyone know of any other reason why a program would
erase files and not resave them. Oh..and FYI...I don't have ANY "erase"
file commands in the program anywhere...it always just saves the new data on
top of the old.
