Perhaps you meant to write:

I did not intend to insult Robert or the Forum.

You may have *intended* to write that Euphoria is being properly promoted,
or effectively promoted. But you wrote - without qualification - that
Euphoria was *not* being promoted:

Robert has already said that he's making the source available for people to
modify, change and market. I think it's fair to say that if Robert plans on
throwing in the towel, he'll lift the current restrictions of not allowing
shrouding, and so on.

Why much Euphoria be 'appreciated' by such a wide audience?

Do you mean 'so few libraries usable by your developers'?

Perhaps because he's a compiler writer, and not an application writer? Or
perhaps because he doesn't have time? How this is a gauge of Euphoria's
fitness is beyond me.

Euphoria is indeed a "hobbyist language". Why this is a bad thing is unclear
to me.
